I spoke with Joann, Theresa's Mother this morning. Theresa will not be released from the hospital today. Dr Duncan wants to monitor her at least one more day. Seems that she was showing signs of renal failure yesterday but her kidneys seem to be functioning again today. Please keep Theresa lifted up in prayer! Tonya:angel:

I have spoke with Theresa several times today. She was not released from the hospital today as planned. It seems Dr Duncan was concerned that she was showing signs of having a leak. The good news is that the leak test came back good. She was having trouble urinating but since they gave her Lasiks(diuretic) she has been able to urinate. Her blood pressure is pretty low still and they are monitoring it closely. She is in very good spirits though and is currently waiting for the cath to be removed so that she can get up to walk. I spoke with her last at 7:30 and Dr Duncan had just left. Please keep Theresa in your prayers. I'll update you all in the am after I speak with her again. Hugs, Tonya

Theresa, I really don't know where to start. You have been oh, so supportive of me and all my trials and tribulations. I can only hope that you have the greatest success with your surgery and that you may be blessed with no complications. You have been like my guardian angel and I want to truly thank you for your advice. I enjoy the compassion that you show me and everyone else and would just like you to be recognized for that. Thank you and I wish you the very best of luck. Holly

Theresa, thank you for your kind words and support. I am excited and terrified at the same time. I know you are feeling the same. Do you have a surgery date yet? You are in good hands with Dr. Duncan. I started this journey with him but my insurance would not approve--tri-care prime. I have two cousins that had him as their surgeon and they are doing wonderful. I wish you all the best!! Betty Diehl
