"Dr. Michel Gagner was wonderful. I believe I made the best decision in having my surgery done by him. I'm not sure what my outcome would have been if I had stuck with the other surgeon. My only regret I have, is I should have gone to him when he was in Miami Florida. I believe insurance wise, things would have gone smoother. Other than that, he is straight forward, compassionate, and soft spoken. I will be going back to him on December 13th for the 2nd part of my surgery. So for right now, I look forward to dropping some weight and start my road to a healthier new me. I will probably be going to the Rockland MD Clinic in Mont Royal when I come back. I had my follow up visit there. Brand new facility, and Dr. Gagner said by then there will be beds for surgeries that require more than a day.
I would rate Dr. Gagner as a 10. His surgical competence.... he's a wizard with abdominal lap surgeries (that's my opinion). He truely cares for the well being and safety of his patients. He has followed up with me right after I left Canada to travel back to New Jersey, and again about a month later. Can't say enough about him. I would recommend him to anyone for bariatric surgery, especially if you come with complications. No other surgeon would do this for me, yet he did. "
