I LOOK BACK NOW AND CAN BARELY REMEMBER THE SURGERY OR MY TIME IN THE HOSPITAL. IT IS ALL A BLUR----KINDA LIKE THE WAY YOU FORGET THE PAIN OF CHILDBEARING. YOU WILL DO FINE. From one Navy wife to another (My Hubby is out now) but I sure know how it feels to not have family around...You'll be great and do great and I wish for you a speedy and healty recovery.

I'm thinking of you, Kristina. We have a lot in common. My husband is in the Navy (Special Warfare) and is in the Mid East. I hate going through this without him here. My best friend is pulling away from me and being negative. These are the only 2 people who know about my surgery. I have no family, so I'm pretty much alone to care for my 2 year old son. We will get through this. My surgery is a week away. We'll be losing together. If you need to chat, please send me a message. There is a tremendous amount of support here. Janene
