Nancy, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. Hi Nancy, I'm new to this site and I didn't know that this particular part of this site existed. We are 3 days apart in our surgery dates. I chose 6/17/02 because my step-daughter is graduating from Glide H.S. and I will be in Roseburg 6/1/02. She graduates 6/2/02 and we're leaving 6/3/02.I'm scared now & I'm sure it will get worse. How are you doing, what kind of procedure are you having, what is it. I'm having an open RNY, that's all I could find with my insurance. If you want I'll be at the Shady Oaks Motel 6/1/02, if you would like to call me. I'm excited to have this surgery done, for my health, my diabetes is getting worse and I'd like to live longer with my feet, legs and eyesight but there is the chance of death and then not to mention the pain. Well keep on dreamin' & keep a good head about food after the surgery, I know eating correctly afterwards is my greatest challenge, as I am sure it is with all, we all love food.
