My mom discussed the surgery with me again and decided that if we could possibly work out a down payment and then payment plan with a surgeon in my area; she is willing to foot the bill for the surgery. We have called my Primary Care Physician and requested any information he could give us.

According to my employer they do not have the "rider." What I don't understand is my insurance premiums have stayed the same yet this new insurance doesn't cover the same stuff the old one did. I haven’t given up however, I'm going to do all I can to try and find either another option or keep hounding my insurance company into helping me out. My mom is definitely interested in helping me and my dad just wants to make sure that I would be handle this life change. That is the point though isn't it? To change your life. I'm not saying that it is all going to be easy...I don't expect it to be, but I do know that it can only change my life for the better.
