Hi Momma Angel, Thank you so much for saying a prayer for me. I can’t tell you what it means to me. Your the first person to send me a post, I appreciate that. I just read your profile and you are such an inspiration to me. You are truly a wonderful amazing woman with a lot of love to share. You really touched my heart. Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by my surgery page. I was beginning to think that there was no one out there. You’re truly a remarkable woman you’re a very brave person to take your journey as you do. When I read that you wouldn't be covered for WLS I got chill bumps all over and tears. I am moved by the love that you have given to so many. You are definitely God’s child and a true angel. I hope and pray that your approval and surgery date will be very soon. Momma Angel, thank you so much for your words of encouragement. I read your profile and you are truly a courageous lady. My weight also reached a high of 500lbs., and I was told I would be dead inside of 5 years if I didn't do something drastic to lose weight. I've been on disability for 3 years and my life has come to a near stop. Surgery seemed the best/only choice for me at this point. Luckily, after an appeal, my insurance approved my application. I don't know if I would have had your courage had I been denied. You have set a shining example as a strong, compassionate, caring woman who gives of herself without complaint. Your value to this community is beyond measure and I hope you are with us a very long, long time. Hugs and many thanks, Noelle

Momma Angel I'm a month post op now and coming along. I can't remember without a tear of thanks coming to me and a flood of emotions the love and care you shown to me and so so so so so many others on this site. OMG, if everyone in the world was as caring as you were this would be the United States of Utopia. I'm sure that I am reiterating eveything people on here either have written or felt. Please know that you are huge source of inspiration and if I can only be a small percentage of what you are then I know I have made a difference. God Bless YOU and His Will will be done. Thank you for your kind words, I was excited when I first got the surgery date but now I am kind of getting nervous after going to a page on the site and seeing all those people who have died most of them due to blood clots and some died days and then weeks and even months after the surgery, So we really need to concentrate and stress walking get up and move and request blood thinners. 2 weeks is really very close. Let me stop because I don't want to sound negative, we need to remain positive, in fact I formed a group with another wls friend and our group is called sisterhood of positive thinkers or the positive thinkers club (if any men want to join) our membership is 2 members strong.I know I will have a lot of people praying for me and I am praying myself.I hope and pray everything goes well with all of our surgeries and we all have a speedy and complicated free recovery. You are an angel. Hoping to get an angel of my own for this surgery to keep you all posted of my hospital stay.

Hi Momma Angel. Thank you for your prayers and support. I read your profile and feel like I know you. I am 450 pounds and a lot of the things you said hit home. I am fortunate that I do not have many medical problems other than my weight, However, I understand not being able to do things that I would like to do. This surgury is my rebirth. I am looking at this as a second chance. Your story helped me understand what was going on. I can look back and see the path that got me to this point.
