New to the site! I think that you are awsome! I having been feeling a bit alone and depressed (now in my 3rd week post-op), and it brought tears to my eyes to see the support come from total strangers! I really needed that! It's so hard for others not having to deal with this to truly understand, no matter how they try (God bless them!) When starting a new life, it's good to make new friends! Thank you! Your prayers will be answered!

Thanks for your message Paula. It was encouraging! I loved your site and I loved your message. I only disagree with one thing you said. I think you said "I have always beleived that there were reasons why doors are shut." I believe that God DOES shut doors for a reason-BUT He always opens a window! You have many medical problems that may lead to major complications in your surgery. God knew that and shut THAT door. Yet, His great window has opened leading to His will that is instilled in you. What Will you ask? Your perserverance! And- Your love for your children to accept nothing more than losing the weight. If not now by surgery-now by dieting. God bless and keep up the great work! Brian
