Oh man.   it is a hard road here in beginnings of bandster life.   I am eating regular foods, that is for sure and for starters.  Though I do not eat nearly as much as I could pre-band -- I still need that restriction that so many people refer to as a sweet spot.  After all, that was the whole purpose of the surgery.

I am going to the doctor for that first fill on Tuesday - September 18.  It could not get here fast enough, though I am panicked about it at the same time.

I need to loose me some more weight - for the confidence at least and then for all of the other reasons that led me to become a bandster.

One day at a time

I feel stronger mentally today and I am so excited for it.  I dropped another pound and sort of feel undeserving of that but I will take it anyway.   It may be more since I am having that time of the month right now and still it says I dropped a lb.  Hope its true and not a scale trick.  LOL.

I made some yummy puree food that reminded me of my childhood.  Used some Sofrito which is a staple in spanish cooking.  Delish!

Feeling really good today.    Actually have a smile that I can feel.

Thank goodness I am starting to feel better today.   Of course still on liquids and will be until the end of next week but the hunger has not really kicked in yet.   My gassiness has subsided quite a bit and I am so glad about that because it was the one thing that was driving me to almost regret the surgery.

i am pretty miserable today.  i'm having a mental funeral for certain foods i know i may never be able to eat again.  my staple food, my favorite food is rice.  i am latina and i love love love me some rice.  they say it will not go down.  that hurts.

liquid diet is getting on my nerves.   im pitting partying all by myself.  

trying to keep my chin up.  lost a few pounds and hope it is enough not to get the surgeon pissed at me.  6 lbs down from last week.  didn't follow all liquid diet for 10 days like i did the two other times i was on liquids and was denied by my insurance.
