So close to a new you and so many emotions! I haven't had mine yet but am hoping for this summer. My thoughts are with you before,during, and after. Keep up with the posts. They do help. With each reply you get there are 10 others you have helped or touched in some form or way. Listen to your peers and mostly your Dr. and support group. they know what you need. I'll be watching for those updated posts!

Dovie, Here's to tomorrow, the first day of the rest of your life!!! And mine is the 23rd!! I could do the happy dance with you if I lived closer!! I know how you feel!!!! I love finding out about wls and this site. It is wonderful. I will be thinking about you tomorrow, and will say a prayer for you to have a uneventful surgery. Dovie, I also had surgery at Northside by Dr. Burrowes 3-1/2 weeks ago. Everything went great with no complications. I will be praying for you. May God give you peace as you await your surgery tomorrow, and may everything go smoothly with no complications. Walk as much as possible after surgery. The more you walk the better you will feel!
