Making Progress

I am still not making the best eating choices -- ate some Junior Mints today -- but I am exercising a lot more and feel better.  I was walking outside every day, but allergy season is killing me so now I am walking on my treadmill.  I set it at 2.8 miles per hour and I have been walking for about 40 - 45 minutes a day.  I actually break into a sweat and feel like I'm making progress.  I wish that there were a "magic cure" for loose skin!  No amount of exercise seems to tighten my stomach, inner thighs or arms.  I hope that as I lose more weight, my skin will tighten a bit more.  This summer, assuming we don't have another monsoon season like we did last summer!, I'll be able to swim again every day.  I love to swim and the exercise should help with loose skin.  If all else fails, I may look into joining a gym for the summer to work with weights and other cardio machines.  Now, if I can only get my eating under control ...

Frustration

I seem to have hit a plateau lately.  Also, I am not making good food choices.  It's not that I'm eating anything that is just awful, but I'm eating too much.  I know that I have restriction, some anyway, but I am "nibbling" on junk.  I am hoping that once school is over, six more weeks, that I will be in better control again.  In the meantime, I plan to continue walking as much as possible.  I have lost 78# since October, but I had hoped to lose 100# by the six-month mark.
