Linda - I am so looking forward to your update. You've got a date with one of the best surgeons in the world, and I know he'll treat you right. Too bad BCBS didn't want to join the party, eh? Even my cat came up to wish you well. (mrow, mrow, mrow) I should send you a picture of my unicorn - it adorns my front yard. It's about 5' tall, and rearing up on its hind legs, with a silver horn. They are our protectors. :)

<b>Congratulations on taking this huge step in your journey and becoming an official member of the "fellowship of the switch."</b> We hope that your surgery and recovery are swift, smooth, and uneventful. It is an interesting experience and certainly not "the easy way out" of being unhealthy and obese but each day will get a little better and be further proof that you dared to dream and had the courage to act.
