Thanks for the support.  I love this website, because everyone know s just how you feel....so many people can't understand.  So thanks for that.  I am sitting her at the computer 24 hours after surgery if that tells ya anything.  I woke up this morning feeling lots better.  I was out of the hospital in 5 hours, so everything went well.  Did a lot of walking last night because of all the gas pain.  I think I belched a million times...so get ready for that ...lol.  Most of my discomfort is at the port site, but once again today so far so much better....especially the gas.  I literally feel like I have done a gazillion situps...

AGHHHHH!!!! SO hungry!!!! lol---how many sugar free popscicles can a girl eat...lol!!!! I am gonna be ok!!!!

Wow its getting close!!! I am so excited u guys....Tomorrow I start my pre-op diet.  I have such an amazing support system.  A couple of my friends at work say that they are going to go on my pre-op diet with me...lol they are crazy!!!  We'll see how long they last....but I am gonna do great on it!!!!

So I also see Dr. Schuster on Wednesday so I will update soon---thanks for all the support you guys!!!

OK OK oK---today I spent 5 hours at the hospital...labs, ekg, chest xray, barium swalow(Ughhhhhhh---omg- that was nasty!!!), then meet with the nutritionist and physical therapy team. I actually work at this hospital--but I have to say that I am so impressed with everone I met today.  They were so imformative and helpful....so I get to start my pre-op diet on Tuesday, then I see Dr. Schuster Wednesday morning..July 8 th is so fast approaching, but I am not nervous at all yet...totally excited (that all may change ...lol)

Found out last week that  insurace approved me and everything is set to go.. Surgery day is July 8.  I am so excited....time to start a new, healthier life.  Will keep posting

So I had my psych eval last week...it lasted all of 5 minutes...is that really enough time to know if a person is emotionally stable enough to handle wls?  I don' t  know...but I am gonna be ok.  So I called the Bariatrics office today ( a week after my psych eval and 2.5 weeks after my initial visit with the surgeon) and they still hadn't sent off my paperwork.  *FRUSTRATED* Oh well, she says she is gonna get it all in the mail today because it is ready to go to the insurance company.  So  I ask "How long until I get final approval typically?'  She says 4 weeks and once again *FRUSTRATED*  I suppose it is because I am so in the mindset that I am going to do WLS adn I just wanna get it done and move onto the next chapter in my life.
 PATIENCE..okay I am gonna be patient!!!
