I'm utterly flabergasted to hear about the lightning strike at the funeral. May God speed the healing of those who were injured. My deepest sympathies to ALL who knew and loved Larry, and now to those who suffered injury while bidding farewell to him as well. I'm completely at a loss for words about this situation! My prayers are with you.

Dianne...I only know of your husband thru this website and I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I just had my surgery 7/24 and I know we all go into with the fear something will go wrong. I'm so sorry your fear became a realiy. Larry sounds like he was a truly special person. I feel as if this surgery brings us into another family, and I hope you know that so many of us care about you and your loss. I wish you peace and healing, and if you need anything, please speak up. You have many friends here and I'm sure any one of us would be willing to do what we can to make things easier for you. God Bless you and your family.

Just a quick note before I head to bed for a few hrs...thanks to cindy for the update to ya'll abt the lightning strikes...it was the most awesome thing....that many people struck...among them Larrys angel, my best friend, Larrys sister and her husband, a friend from church, and yet none were hurt bad enough to require extensive serious medical help. Looks to me like they all had a gaurdian angel. Thank you to everyone who had poured out their love and concern. We go down to TN tomorrow to check everyone out of the hospital. Love y'all Dianne (wife of an angel)

What does one say? You are right God did give you and angel, one that will watch over you the rest of your days. This may not be much help but everything happens for a reason, even this! One day you will know the reason. . . until then may you take comfort in knowing God has taken Larry home.
