I am sad to report that we have lose another WLS family member. My Aunt Janet (also my angel and she, mine) was in the right hand turning lane at the corner in front of her house with her 5 year old grandson when a picture of her puppy flew out the car window. She told her grandson to stay while she got out to get it. A car with a young girl that was going straight didn't see her and hit her. She died almost instantly. She will be greatly missed! Janet is feeling good but tired and is very happy to be home where she can get great care from her hubby. She said she would be up and running (He He) later this week. 0:-)

Janet, welcome home! So happy to hear you've crossed over to the LOSER'S side! Sorry to hear your hospital stay was not the positive experience you were hoping for. My friend Sue just got home from her OPEN RNY and she was not thrilled with her doctors care, although she said the nurses were wonderful. It's too bad not everyone can have a great experience. I hope you have a quick and pain-free recovery now that you're home, and please know that we're all here sending warm wishes your way and offering you an ear if you need to talk.
