HELLO I SPOKE WITH GRAPES AUNT VIA EMAIL AND JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT HAPPEND TO HIM, THE DOC SAID HE HAD SOME TYPE OF "CARDIAC EVENT" AFTER SURG HE HAD FLUID IN THE LUNGS AND SOMETHING GOING ON WITH HIS LEGS, THEY WILL HAVE TO DO AN AUTOPSY TO FIND THE EXACT CAUSE OF DEATH, HE WAS IN ICU IN STABLE CONDITION AFTER THE SURGERY. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF US IN CHAT!! HE PASSED AWAY 6/17/03 AROUND 12:30PM

To all of you, thank you for your kind words and support to our family during this tragic time. I am sorry it has taken me so long to post, we have been going through a very rough period. Steve was not only our friend, but a part of our family. He was an amazing man and always lived life to the fullest despite limitations due to his size. I do want to thank everyone here at WLS for supporting Steve in this step in his life. He found great comfort talking to many of you in chat and spoke very highly of the people he met here. He depended on this site for information, guidance, inspiration, and that no matter what time it was, there was always someone here to listen or talk to that knew what he was going through. I'm so sorry to learn of Steven's passing. Words can not describe what his family and friends are going through but I hope you are all comforted in knowing he is finally flying high with the angels, finally FREE! ((((HUGS))))

To Stevens family and friends my heart and prayers are with you. I truly believe Steven is now dancing, running,laughing, and we are blessed to have him as our angel watching over us. For we will meet again one day. May God be with his family and friends to give them comfort and peace during this time of sorrow. Comfort them dear lord and let them know how much he loved them and will continue to be with them. He is just free of this earthly body that served as a prison for him. Obeisty is a horrible disease. I ask that all each day give a kind word or show love to others for life we never know when it will end. GOD BLESS MICKEY
