Robin, I will be 1 year out on the morning you have your surgery. Things will sure be different for you after that date. I never have regreted the decision to have WLS. I am "normal" now and feel wonderful. I went from a size 26 to an 8 as of today and have lost 90% of the weight. I have 8 pounds to go to get to goal. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and follow the directions they give you for eating and exercise. It is so worth it! Judy
