Hello everyone. If this posts 2 times I apologize, I'm just learning how to do this. I am a good friend of April's. I just came from the hospital and she is doing pretty good. Dr. Wheeler had to remove a large hernia while he was doing her surgery. This was unexpected and it was pretty rough on her. She was up and walking down the hall(that's always a good sign). She said to tell everyone HELLO. I'll post again tomorrow night after I visit her.

Miss April, CONGRATS on your surgery date! I want you to know that I will try to get over there to see you before you are released from the hospital. I will be thinking of you and praying for you. I've really enjoyed getting to know you (as much as I can by phone and email). :-) I can't wait to meet you!! Everything will go wonderfully.

Yahhhh!! Congratulations April on the big day! I am so happy for you. I want to thank you for the encouraging words you sent my way over the last few weeks too... it means so much to know that people care and remind us that we are not alone in this road ahead of us. My surgery was on 4/6/04 and I have done wonderfully, no problems at all.. I feel GREAT! I wish you a smooth, speedy recovery. I cannot encourage you to walk, walk, walk as much as you can while in the hospital.. once you get going it is much easier. Best of luck to you.. my prayers are with you.

Hi April! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! Remember that we’re all family here and we’re here to give you our support, lend an ear and not judge.
