Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey. denise, my surgery sister! i will be thinking of you on tuesday morning. i know you will be starting this journey with me. i wish you nothing but the best!! like someone said on this board, "faith and fear can NOT live in the same body". try to focus on the faith. i know its hard. the phyco dr said to come to surgery in your happy place---well, i truly believe that i havent been in my happy place yet! so heres to the future and making it to the other side on wls. holding your hand across the miles--- tammy
