Do not stand at my grave and weep, "I am not there, I do not sleep." I am thousand winds that blow; "I am the diamond glints on the snow, "I am the sunlight on ripened grains; "I am the gentle autumn's rain. "When you awake in the morning's hush, "I am the swift uplifting rush "Of the quiet birds in circled flight. "I am the soft star that shines at night." Do not stand at my grave and cry. "I am not there; I did not die AuthorUnknown- kristi

Sandra, Sorry my previous post addressed you as Catherine. I confused you with Catherine Johnson's post. God bless you.

Catherine - May God be with you throughout the loss of her daughter Elizabeth. I believe I corresponded with her last year when I was getting ready to make my decision to have WLS. I flew to Atlanta to see Dr. Champion and I believe Elizabeth and I discussed her experience with him as being very positive. I thought she was doing really good and was shocked to learn that she had the ruptured bowel. When did this happen and what were the symptoms? You may not have time to answer my questions, but I would like to hear from you if you ever feel like writing about it. I feel so bad for your family. May God truly hold you in the palm of His hand and I pray for you to have strength throughout this.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. There is another angel in heaven watching over all of us. Revel in the strength and the blood of Jesus that Elizabeth is now in a better place. Again, my prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you and your family in my prayers. My wife had WLS last December and suffered severe unnecessary complications and after 8 months in the ICU, she passed away 4 weeks ago, as I was holding her hand. I will always cherish being with her at the end. My wife and your daughter are beautiful angels now. God bless you.

Dear Sandra.. everyone at this site knows what kind of courage it takes to go through WLS, and we all mourn your loss. I'm goint to echo other posters, but what a true tragedy for Elizabeth to fly through WLS with such sucess only to be brought down months later. My love and prayers are with you and everyone who loved Elizabeth. Heaven has a new angel... ~Peace
