Yeahhhhh, Kelly!!! I'm so glad you're moving ahead with Dr. Wood. I have all confidence in him. If there's anything we can do while you're here in town, please let us know.

Hi Kelly, I originally was to have my RNY at BTC, but after my initial consultation & sleep study they informed my that I had a type of BCBS that they didn't accept. So, I found the Cori Center & am so glad I did!!! The doctors there are excellent. Plus, you have your surgery at a Hospital, so if any complications were to arise, they are equipped to handle it (if anything happens at BTC, they transfer you to a full service hospital). My surgeon was Dr. Schuctnecht & he is awesome! Dr. Wood from the office, also came in to check on me a few times during my hospital stay too & he is wonderful too! You will be very pleased with your choice. I am so glad I went to them....someone must have been looking out for me. I had my surgery on Tuesday, March 4th...was discharged on Thursday, March 6th. I have had no problems at all, and am down 30 lbs. Good luck to you in your WLS journey!

Best wishes on fixing your recent medical problems. My dad had something very similar lately, and he had to have a minor procedure and it's all fixed. Hope you get everything taken care of soon so you can have your WLS! Take care!
