Hi William, Woooo Hoooo! The beginning is almost here. I'm a pre-op from Tx. so I'm not sure how much help I would be but I would be glad to help in anyway I can, angel or such if needed. Jules

Hi, I just wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming surgery. Soon you will be a "loser" like so many others. I know this is a nerve wracking time and your uptight and worried. Its normal but try to stay calm and remember why your doing this and what the eventual outcome will be. It will be all worth it. Your going to feel so much better and healthier and be able to enjoy life with your family. If you would like to email me to chat or ask questions, please do. I had my Lap RNY about 9 weeks ago 3/27/03 and I am down 77 pounds. I feel so much better and my energy is unreal. I actually have to make myslef slow down. haha. My e-mail address is [email protected] Take care and God's blessing to you for a safe surgery and speedy recovery, Cheryl Arnold

Hi William. Congratulations! Your day is coming soon. I had my surgery last August 20th, and am now 125 lb slimmer, and it feels great! Though coming through the surgery can be difficult, the pain eventually leaves and your health returns. Then, you can really roll around the floor with your son. I would be glad to offer you any support (and answer any questions you may have) that I can possibly give during this journey. Please relax during these 'last days' of waiting. I'm just a State away (SC)--so again, feel free to contact me anytime. Much care, concern and friendship in WLS. Lori Ann Koestler

HI :) and congrats. I know the excitement and anxiety are tough. If they hadn't given me happy meds when they did I would have gotten up and walked out but I'm glad the Doctors all understand our anxiety and apprehension. It's so worth it. I'm a little far to volunteer for a local angel since I'm just south of Atlanta but I'll be praying and sending good vibes your way. Prayers for You, your family, the surgeon and the hospital staff. ~L~
