I hope by now you are on the losing side! You are in the best of hands, and I'm sure Dr. Davis has taken good care of you! My prayers are with for a quick and painless recovery!! :0)

Karen's brother Chuck just called. Karen came through surgery with flying colors!!! She went into surgery around 8 am and was going through the groggies in recovery at 11 am. She's talking and groggy, and has her friend, Mr. Morphine Pump right by her side! =) The facility she is at has a mandatory 2 night stay for their patients, even Laps....so she will be well taken care of. Her brother described the facility as looking more like a hotel than anything else. Hardwood floors and beautiful art everywhere. I guess there's something to be said for physician owned facilities designed just for bariatric patients! We should all be so lucky!!! Karen, may your pain medication flow freely and your healing be swift! You will be in my thoughts and prayers. ~Shan~
