Congratulations to you, Beth. I am to report to the hospital at 6:00AM on Thursday. I think the surgery is for 8:30AM. My wife Nita had her surgery on 02/01/2006, and Dr. Martin was fabulous. We look forward to meeting you running laps around the hallways later this week!

{{{{{{{{CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY}}}}}}}}} ~~~~~"Everything in our lives happens for a purpose and that purpose is to prepare us~~~~~~~~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. You are about to embark on the most amazing transformation of you mind, body and soul. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. WTG Beth, I am so happy for you. YOU GOT A DATE!!!! I do believe that will be (at least for me) one of the days that will go down in history. You are on your way to Skinnyville. From what I've seen & heard on the VA Board the train leaves the station at a pretty fast pace....so expect your arrival to be fast and without incident. I can't wait to see you there in Skinnyville. <grin> Enough sillyness..........Congrates on your surgery and I can't wait to meet you. Lots of Love Kathy

Hey Beth... you will love Dr. Martin. I had surgery with her 2 1/2 months ago and the process was sooooo smooth, even though I had several previous abdominal scars. Take care and keep us posted on the VA messageboard. Also, don't hesitate to post questions, no matter how trivial they may seem. Guarantee someone else has had a similar experience. My thoughts and prayers are with you…times may get a little tough at times, but just remember God is on your side and we are here for you!
