Dear Annie, Good Luck! I'm rooting for you too! I am a patient of DR. Teixeira as well, my date is May 24th. I share your excitement though too! I attended the support group tonight (May 4th) in the Bronx. I'm not sure if you were there, since it was very difficult for me to hear what everyone was saying. I am unsure how much I am supposed to lose since Dr. Teixeira didn't tell me I needed to lose any weight. (He didn't tell my sister either and her surgery is 2 days after mine!)I'm going to try and lose around 5 pounds in the next three weeks just in case though. Hope I do it! Hope to hear how ur progress goes! Keep in touch?!?! :) Yvonne
