I'm home and feeling great. Hope you are too. The cotton mouth sucks, but it's a small price to pay. Take care of yourself, and take it easy.

I just talked with Ashleigh a few minutes ago. Other than a little dry mouth, she's doing well. She's been up to go to the restroom already. She should be going home tomorrow. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Brenda in KC

Congratulations on your decision to make a positive change in your life. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you good luck, good health and a speedy recovery. I had lap RNY on Febr. 8. I had no real pain and I went back to work early because I felt so good. I hope your experience is as positive!

Not only do we have the same date, we both like some of the same things. I'm also a tattooed dork. I loved Napolean Dynamite, and tonight I'm going to watch "Reqeuim for a Dream" for the 4th time. I love that movie. Great choice for the night before surgery! If you like strange, twisted, disturbing movies- try "Irreversible." I was very disturbed by it, but in a good way. Kind of...My boyfriend still doesn't know what to say about it. Anyway-Good luck to us! May St.Patrick be watching out for us,since we can't have a beer.
