Brandy...I hope your surgery is uneventful and your recovery is speedy. I am 7 months postop and feel great. I had no complications and was out of the hospital 48 hrs later I still have pain meds I never used after surgery. My suggestion for your hospital stay is to bring flavored chapstick. My favorite is the slurpee flavored 3 pack. Walk as soon as you can after surgery. It helps to keep the lungs clear. Best of luck, GOD BLESS.

Angel landing!!! Dusted off the old wings. Brandy has agreed to let me be her angel. I am so excited for her. I talked with her on the phone this evening and she is such a sweet person. Brandy-Congratulations, the time will pass quicker than you think. It seems alot longer but when you keep yourself busy getting things ready it helps occupy the wait time. I had my surgery 7/11-6 days ago and I'm already beginning to start walking short distances. You will love it!!!Take care and God Bless you!!
