I passed all my pre-surgical tests today and it's a go for tomorrow morning, March 8, at 7:30 a.m. Actually, I have to be there at 5:30 a.m., which is just a little over 8 hours from now! I'm feeling confident that everything will be okay, and that Dr. O'Brien will be able to do the laparoscopic by-pass. Wish me luck. Here I go ...... !!!

Well the day you have been waiting for is almost here. You are in my prayers for a no pain just a little discomfort, and a speedy recovery. You have a great surgeon and you will do wonderful. I will continually check your web page for updates. If you are doing great, I may pop up and see you. Bring along some of the pals we have met on the net from SF. Hang in there, and remember, you have all the support whenever you need it. Good luck and on the 28th I'll meet you on the "Otherside". Never thought I could be proud to announce to people that I would be a big "Loser" oneday. You and me both will be a member of the Big L Club. ((((((hugs)))))

Ardist, you are my thoughts and prayers as your big day approaches. Your support has meant alot to me as I recover. Try not to worry, you have an excellent DR and the nurses at SVH are great! Take one day at a time and remember that each day you will feel stronger and lighter!!!!

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you the day of surgery. I will be at my cabin in the Hills but will still be thinking of you daily. Good luck to you and keep the faith. Just think what this will do for our summer and fall fashions. Keep me posted, cuz ya know, I'm on the 28th of March. Keeping together makes it easier for all of us going through this. (((((hugs)))) sheila
