Tina g/f, don't be sad. You may be a slow looser but the benefit is you may not get saggy skin by loosing at a slower rate. You're body is still adjusting to WLS and it's going to fight to keep it's fat stores...it thinks you're starving it and in a way with the malabsorption you are. I wish you the very best and continued success on your Journey. Here's a cyber (((HUG))) just for you.

Dear Tina, Praying for your success with this wonderful journey and tool. Make sure you are eating and eating enough or you will not lose weight. I am 15 months out and only plateaued a couple times which I am now leveling off. I still eat 6 times a day and do not drink with my meals. I have lost 162 pounds in the 15 months and 198 from my top weight. Blessings to you Janice 353/155

Thank you for encouraging others when you too are stil on the mend. You must truely be a pearl in the this sea of s*** we sometimes live in girl! I too wish we were near each other so that we can be support to one another. Giving thought to what your husband did as well only reminds me he left our 5 br 2 bth 43 acrea farm to live in a trailer park in a old run down shack with a woman known to be a crack user who has had 4 different children by four different men and the state has taken the oldest of those who is 14. He is really doing so well he lost 45 pounds since christmas that the skinny man didnt have to lose and his hair has completely grayed from a blonde mix. By all physical standards he is a handsome baby faced man but in my standards he has ruined our home and it will never happen again to me and our kids not by him. Thank you for showing me perserverance. Best of luck to you and yours. Prayers and warm wishes to you Tina. Tina, haven't heard from you in a week, wondered what had happened, so I thought I would check out your page. OH MY GOD Girl!! The incision has not healed yet!!!! Hang in there, it will be worth it in the end. Remember that God does not put more on our shoulders than we can handle. You are a very strong person and have great support behind you. Do what the doctors say so you will feel better and stronger. Remember our date for this summer!!!! That should bring a smile to your face and you did make the right decision as you told me in the hospital. Think only positive thoughts and I will say my prayers for you.
