Jen, Your Angel, Stacy, is my daughter !! You are very lucky to have her for your Angel. She has become very pro-active on every aspect of gastric by-pass. That plus her own experiences with her surgery last August will be a wonderful help to you. She is very kind and funny and has a wonderfully positive and optomistic. Best of luck, I will be having Dr. G do my gastric by-pass, am waiting for approval of BC BS.

Jennifer, Congrats on taking the leap towards a better way of life. Some additional things to help with surgery...start walking or exercising now. Cut down on caffine consumption, switch to lower salt items, limit carb intake and start looking for higher protein snack items. KimmieTN

Jennifer! Girl, you need to post more on the message board! We want to hear from you! I love it when new people post. I am so happy for you on your road to health. It was hard the first month post-op for me, but I would definately do it again. I am 2 months out and down SEVENTY pounds! I know, I have to keep saying it over and over. It's amazing how much you will change. You are simply beautiful, this surgery will only take you higher. God Bless you!
