Well, we were in the hospital together, but we didn't get to meet. Glad to read that you are doing well. It's been an adventure, but a really good one. I was sure glad to get my tube out, too. what a bother! I'm planning to attend the support group next month. Maybe we'll meet there. Wishing you continued success!

Brenda, thanks for the well wishes. I remember talking to you online, because I had your e-mail address written down, but I can't remember what we spoke about. I hope everything goes well with you and we will have to keep in touch since our surgery is the same day and all. Good luck!!!

Brenda - I had my surgery in Oct 01 at Kettering (different surgeon) Just do exactly what the doctor says and you'll do fine. In 17 months I have lost 160 lbs; I now wear a size 10P or 12P. I'll be thinking about you (I live in Fairborn). Let me know how you are doing
