Hello Ruth, Had surgery, Dr. Vig. Aug. 9, 2001 I am 64 yrs old and have lost 56 lbs to date. I was impressed with the Bariatric Center in Grove City, and especially Dr. Vig. I am a little old to be having this surgery, but because I am pretty healthy I was ok'd. Everything went great, You won't feel too great for the first couple of weeks. But it is worth it. Good morning, Ruth. I am happy to see that you are going to start the new year off with a BANG!! What a great date. You tell your hubby that those women probably just stayed married to their jerky husbands because they thought settling for morons was all that they deserved as fat women. When the wweight came off, they saw clearly what they had settled for and that they were worth more than that. It's not about weight, it's about moving layers of fat off your body so your mind can see and process clearly without the haze of sugar clouding your judgment. Well, I have rambled on for FAR TOO LONG. You take good care of yourself and keep us updated as to your progress!!

Ruth Congrats on your surgery date! Your right that is a cool date. And God Bless your Hubby! He sounds like a great guy. Mine was Very scared when I had my surgery on 4-9-01, but I came though with no complications and all is well! Starting wt 270 and 5'6 and today 180!!!!!!! Good luck to you both
