Vickie, you'll be fine. Dr. C. is a wonderful doctor. I have not had any problems at all and I am 6 weeks post op. Everyone at the hopital was very nice also. I have to honestly say that I din't have one complaint(except the bed). Good luck, but you won't need it, and God bless you and your family.

It was a joy to read a note from you. Yes, I'll be traveling across the states to borrow your wonderful surgeon for a couple of days. Looks like we'll be sharing on the June 22nd. I'll be at Emory Dunwoody Hospital. Looking forward to crossing over!!! Don't forget to let God carry you through it, though. Sunni.

Dear Vickie, I, too, am scheduled for a June 23, surgery at 10:30 a.m. I am so sorry to hear about your insurance problems. I found a website, www.obesitylaw.com, it is very informative about what to do in case of insurance deniel. They will take your case, out of state, for a fee of $500. Has the insurance company given you their policy exclusion in writing? Have they told you where it is in your policy? If they can't produce, then they don't have a case. I'll be thinking of you on our life changing date. God Bless and good luck with your battle with the insurance company.

Dear Vickey, good luck on your upcoming surgery date. It's a shame you have to borrow money in order to get the help you need and I do hope that you will win an appeal with your insurance company and wind up with them paying. But even if you don't, I think you're going to find it's well worth it. I'm just 10 days post-op and I'm convinced that next to quitting smoking, this is the best thing I've ever done for myself.
