Dear Debbi, I am new to this site. Noticed today that you had surgery yesterday. I hope all is going as you expected and you are finding some comfort in "pain medicine". It sounds like you have a greeat support group. I am having surgery on the 16th also at Lexington and I hope I have just as much support! You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Hi! Hope all is well Debbi! I am praying for you. I am going to see Dr. Strickland on April 22nd. I have been so encouraged by all of the comments about him. Hello Everyone-Update on Debbi, just got off the phone with her and she is a little groggy from the pain medication. She has been doing good, she said she is in a lot of pain and that earlier today her IV came out of her arm and that it took the nursing staff over 2 1/2 hours to restart her IV. So, she was without pain medication for that time. She said she was really, really hurting. She still has in the NG tube and that they are allowing her to eat ice chips. (that's good because I wasn't allowed to!!) I will be going to see her in the morning. She did sound a little discouraged, which I think all of us have done after being cut open. So, if you wouldn't mind stopping my her surgery page and let her know she's in your thoughts, that would be wonderful. Thank you so much for all, that all of you have done thus far in signing her surgery page, it means so so much to me and I know even more to Debbi. XOXO Tammy

Yea-a--a Debbi. I was at the hospital yesterday having my first Nutrition visit. I asked how you were doing and sent a little basket up to you, knowing you would not feel like a strange visitor just yet. I hope to come by on Thursday and Friday to finally tell you in person... GO GIRL! I am SO glad to read your husband's comments... I KNEW you would do well.

Hello Everyone-Just got off the phone with Ray, Debbi's husband and he said that she is doing great. The Doctor said she came through the surgery like a trooper. She is now in a room, and resting. Hopefully she will call me tomorrow, if she is able to. I will however be going to visit her in the hospital on Thursday, so you still have time to congratulate her on making to "the otherside"...she's now an official "loser" Go Debbi, Go Debbi!!! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to sign her page. I think that has really helped her through this emotional time. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. XOXO Tammy
