Elle here to thank everyone for the good wishes and blessings...these things are important and I very much appreciate them. The time for my surgery swiftly appoaches and I am anxious and nervous as might me expected, however I have made the best decision. Weight Loss Surgery will change my life for the better.

Hi Elle. I am from Dallas, Oregon and I have met Dr. Patterson. I was post-op last October and she was job shadowing my surgeon, Latham Flanagan at Sacred Heart. She seems very nice and knowledgable about our surgeries. Best of luck next week and my wishes for your speedy recovery. Vickie Ames

***PSUEDO ANGEL CHECKING IN!*** Elle is climbing that final hill in the roller coaster of her WLS journey. Her surgery is MONDAY. I'll be keeping an ear out and sharing what I can. I know she would appreciate your thoughts and words as things progress. I will print her card on Tuesday and see that she gets it. (I was going to be Elle's Angel, but circumstances have changed that as Elle traded me (*G*)to someone who needs me a bit more and is having surgery just 2 days after her.) Anywho, Elle, you are about as ready as anyone can be for this. Thank you for being an inspiration. ~Peace

***INTRODUCTORY ANGEL NOTE*** Angel reporting for duty! Elle will be having her lap DS on July 30th at Good Samaratin Hospital in Portland OR. It's never to early to start sending up those good thoughts and lighting those candles (we do however, draw the line at ritual sacrifice *LOL*).. so feel free! Elle you're gonna do great! Hello Elle! As another Oregonian who also worked for USWest/Qwest I felt compelled to post and wish you the very best of luck with your upcoming surgery. It's been a long climb but the goal is in sight and that's EVERY exciting! I'm glad to hear that your hubby is so very supportive of you, it never hurts to have that kind of back up.
