Sad news to report on Mary. Friday she was taken to the hospital with a blood clot near her heart. Doctors think it might be related to the central line she had in her neck.........a one in 10 million chance. She is in Critical Care and can't talk. I did speak to her Dad and he said it is touch and go right now. They are doing everything they can for her and hopping the drugs will help disolve the clot. If you recall, Mary worked really hard for this surgery and was postponed the first time around. If anyone deserves a good outcome, Mary is the one. Please, everyone, say a prayer for Mary and keep her in your thoughts today. I will keep you all posted and hope the news later today is good.

Angel coming in for final landing. Mary came home yesterday and is doing just fantastic. She sounds strong and ready for her new life. She stayed an extra day in the hospital due to the pain, but is now doing really well. Way to go Mary and welcome to the other side.

~~HOLY MOLY WHAT AN ANGELIE WEEK!~~ I visited with Mary and her Dad today for about an hour. She is still in a lot of pain but was a great trooper and took a stroll around the nurses station with me! She is very brave and looking forward to feeling better. After a kind of rough start (one cancellation), I sincerely WELCOME YOU TO THE OTHER SIDE! The Luckiest Angel!

Angel Report---Talked to Mary yesterday. Her surgery went Perfectly!!!!!! Dr. Clayton is very happy with the result. Mary is in some pain, but says she is happy she had the surgery....finally! Way to go Mary. She was waiting for the staff to find her a chair to sit in. Her back was bothering her so she wanted to get out of bed. Good sign....getting out of bed is a good thing. If all goes well, Mary will start on ice chips today or tomorrow and see how it goes. Who knows, she may be home by Sunday!
