Hey Harriett! I'm sorry that you've run into some problems but I just know that Dr. Case is doing his very best to take care of you. I've been keeping up with your updates and hope that you're improving greatly each day. I'm keeping you (and Dr. Case) in my prayers and hope that you'll be home very soon. Hang in there and get well soon!

Spoke with Leon (Harriett's husband) this afternoon. He says respirator did not come out today as hoped, cannot keep her pulse-ox where it needs to be. Her blood pressure is holding well, and her kidneys are functioning. Harriett had hoped to be home by tomorrow, but the doctor has told the family she will be there all this week..Leon said Harriett had a very difficult night last night. Now the biggest issues seem to be getting her to wake up...she can't see to stay awake at all, so, they are going to start cutting back on some of the pain meds, and keeping her oxygen gases where they need to be. In addition, her daugher-in-law,Christy, is leaving to go back home to Ocala where she is to be at the hospital at 7am in the morning for her OWN WLS! This family is still in need of our prayer. Please take a moment after reading this post and speak to your higher power, or offer your best positive thoughts towards Harriett for continued healing and to Christy for an uneventful surgery. Thanks to you all. -Tami
