Tanya, thinking of you as I read your profile. I am having my surgery on the 9th of July, and feeling most of the things you are feeling, you are not out of your mind. Just keep positive and keep praying and you will be fine. I am sending lots of wishes and prayers for your safe and uneventful surgery and a quick and pain-free recovery. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it! Don't forget that. None of us is a perfect christian or a perfect human, God does not hold grudges. You have been through so much in your 27 years, now is the time for you to get healthy, both physically and mentally. YOu have alot of people here pulling for you.

Tanya, darling really it is not you. It is US! Think about it babe, there are people every that have hang ups, addictions, desires or maybe even considered sicknesses. Everyone is addicted to something. I consider US blessed that it is to food. My Lord it could be anything drugs, sex, abuse or alcohol. Honey there is nothing the matter with your thoughts. You are completely normal. It is not easy to make a decision like you have. You have decided to live rather than die. Stick with that decision. Stand firm on our Comforters promises to protect and provide for us. Pray about it until you find peace. You are not to have a spirit of fear. Speak over rthe situation " I will be fine, I will recover quickly. Draw you strenth from a higher power. Pray for his will. Because anything we desire could only fall short of his plan for us. You are in my prayers sister. May The Lord bless and keep you (((((((HUGS)))))))

Hi Tanya. I have NEWS!! Someone has stolen my brain and planted it in your head. I, too, had all of your questions, self-doubts and recriminations before my surgery. I think most of us here have had them, too. What you are going through now is NORMAL, believe it or not! Have faith that God will bring you through this safely and He will. For each complication and death (like Wanda Smart, Carla Rosen, Debra Howen) that we read about, there are thousands, yes thousands of us who have had the surgery safely and successfully. I know it's hard, but don't focus on the negative. THINK POSITIVE! What you think is what you get! Read my profile--I am a single parent and took a big leap of faith having this surgery! And it's been terrific. And it will be terrific for you, too. KEEP THE FAITH and e-mail me if you need to talk some more!

oh, you are a sweetie! I appreciate your words of encouragement. I want to tell you, as a survivor of child abuse, you have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to feel guilty about. You did an amazing thing getting your children out of that environment before something really awful happened to them...for that you should feel proud. You took care of your babies. Heck, I'm proud of you for leaving that situation. I'm pleased to hear that you married your best friend. I married my best friend when I was 18, and after 10 years...we are still going strong. I am so grateful that these wonderful men do exist. I just wish every woman could find a good one the first time...and save a lot of pain. Anyway, you take good care of yourself! I will be thinking good thoughts for you!! :o)
