Charea can you contact me if you have out of network benefits and can travel to LA for Surgery as I can get you a date before the first if you have out of network benefits. The out of network out of pocket would be $3,000 if I can help you let me know.

Hi Charea, I had many hurdles to jump for my surgery too. Tricare, my insurance, even canceled my surgery on Friday before the Wed it ws supposed to happen because I didn't weigh enough. I will tell you this...FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT. If for some reason God DOES NOT want you to have this surgery then you will NOT have it at this time...no matter what. I have found that sometimes I have to fight for what I want to the VERY END. Less than 36 hrs before my surgery Tricare approved me because I was only 7 lbs too light and the Army had spent over $11,000 on me already. I have to tell you that GOD did that, no one at Tricare cared. You keep your faith and don't you DARE give up now. God Bless you.

I marked this update to help others who insurance is changing at a critical time and the new insurance wouldnt cover you. Its not cheap but buy cobra just long enough to get surgery. Its a federal law they have to supply it. Quick easy fix, and much less than the $7000 co pay for the surgeon you have lined up...

I hope things fall in place for you, I cant even inmagine what you must be going through, hopefully there will be an opening, dont give up and keep on bugging his office, show up crying, pleading maybe just maybe that will work.

Hey Cherea! I just got kicked out of my EGD appointment because of some emergency from some other patients. I would classify your situtation as urgent, too- someone should move their A$$ and give you a date! Maybe if you go to the doctor's office and plead with them? WOW! Good luck with this. Keep us updated!--juliet (pre-op AGB)

Hi Charea, Be sure and ask your dr to put you on his waiting list. He may be able to work you in, considering what you are up against. It never hurts to ask. Make an appt with the surgeon and ask HIM. Many drs will go out of their way for their patients. Best of luck.

Charea, sorry about the problem with the insurance, but God can work through all of that and even if He doesn't than there is a reason behind it. With God all things work together for the good. My surgery was originally scheduled for today, but because of an insurance issue was rescheduled for December 6th. It was upsetting at first but there were other medically things that I hadn't expected showed up that same week and we had to deal with that first so it worked for the good. I have 20 more days to go to get to the loosing side. I'm praying for you outcome and your strength. God Bless You.
