Settle Down Sarah ! I haven't talked with for awhile but I do click on you every so often. Glad to hear you are A-Okay for the long awaited plastic ! Now don't fret about the delay, I always say everything happens for the best. Use this extra time to be sure you have great compression garment for everywhere when you get home. Remember the list from before your bypass... do all the bending stretching work you can before you go in like changing your bed linens, getting caught up on laundry, go thru and clean up...looking at everything when you are couch bound and NOT being able to do it gets on your nerves for sure. Get shopping caught up...I find nobody grocery shops for me like I do. They never get just the right brands and sizes. So, get busy and keep your self busy. You'll lose tons of weight from the surgery..I lost 17 just from a tummy tuck. I had to reregister with a new user name as I forgot my old password and my email has changed since I was last on so I am listed in Obesity help as Carol M from Dillonvale OH, that is where you will find my olhistory, my kids went to Ohio U. GO BOBCATS ! Say your prayers and I will too, best of wishes for you, I am so very proud of all your hard work and self confidence . You are absolutely beautiful. Love, Carol

Hi Sarah, You have really gone through alot. Knowing your struggle has really opened my eyes to how "simple" things are for me, and how undeservedly critical I have been toward other obese people. Thank You for sharing your story on OH. It has really helped open my eyes. I wish you ongoing success with the weight loss and a miracle with regards to the lipedemia. I also wanted to say Congratulations on the progress you have made with the weight loss, but more importantly Congratulations to you with regards to your new personal outlook. I hope that some day, you will get to feel what "normal" is like, but until then I hope that you can continue to love and enjoy the wonderful person you are! Heidi L-S

Sarah Margaret, Thanks for all your support. I have finally had a chance to read your about your journey and learned that you have had tremendous struggles but have fought valiantly on. You are an inspiration to me. You are a relatively young woman with a long life ahead of her. I believe you will be successful in your weight loss battle although the road will never be easy. Your ability to bounce back and return to the prescribed diet in spite of the many set backs you have faced tell me how strong a woman you are in the face of adversity. You have already achieved great inroads on your weight loss on the way to your goal and as the doctors say, "This operation is only a tool. Even after you have hit that window you still have the opportunity to lose weight and control the weight you have lost!" My congratulations to you on the work you have done and my support and love to you for what you must still work towards. You will do it! Wanda Smart (P.S. I accidentally posted this on another site)
