my mom is great!!! she can now eat jello and chicken broth and drink water, but she thinks the broth is too salty!!!

hi it's me again, my mom is doing awesome!! she can now drink and eat jello and chicken broth!! i am so excited to have her home safe and sound!!! i do feel bad though cause i am eating regular and she only eats jello, but she says it doesn't bother her!!

Melissa had her RNY surgery today at 10am and she did great!!! She actually had two of the Scottsdale Bariatric surgeons doing her surgery..so I guess she got 2 docs for the price of 1!!! I just spoke with her and she sounds wonderful. She is up and walking and can't wait to get to drink some water tomorrow in the am. She is expected to be released from the hospital in 2 days.

melissa is my mom and she is at this exact moment in the recovery room. she is fine and had no complications!!! thanks for supporting her on the pre-op journey and i know she will also need support for the rest of her incredible journey!!! Thanks,Molly Powers
