Hi Beth!! I am so happy for you today!! I just know this is going to happen for you. You have to wait a bit longer, but it will happen. Just be patient and drop me a line from time to time and let me know how you are doing. I am STILL crossing EVERYTHING that this will happen sooner rather than later. Hi Beth. I just saw your post about Mela and I wanted to drop you a line. I think it is so great of you to be an Angel to others even while you are waiting yourself. You are truly a great person and I hope I get the chance to meet you someday. I have to appologize too. I must have completely missed your post about having your gall bladder out. Man, I feel like a schmuck now!! I guess I can just blame it on being a man. I was probably told of your upcoming surgery, but you know how a man's memory works...IT DOESN'T!!! You be good now and keep me posted of your progress when things change or if you just want to let me know how you are doing....Captain K-Man

I read your profile and I am so sorry for your ins prob. been there done that, this has taken me over three years of trying and now it seems like its finally going to happen. Hey Beth, I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts. I am so hoping that you get some good news. Just to share my own story with you. I was denied by my insurance three times and finally gave up. I tried to switch to another insurance and somehow ended up with a full year of NO insurance. Ughh. Finally, decided that no matter what I was having the surgery. I managed to find the funds through a lot of thinking, a lot of juggling, and a lot of begging. I am now scheduled for surgery with Dr. Aguirre in Ensenada, MX on Feb 9, 2005. Less than four months from now. I just knew that I could not give up and that this surgery was the right thing to do for ME. If you are at all interested in going out of the country in order to self pay, I would recommend you go to the south of the border forum. Lots of really helpful people on there. I am paying $9300 plus travel expenses to have the surgery but it will be well worth it. Again, I am thinking of you and hoping that your isurance company sees the light and makes the right decision. Hi, just read a post from K-man and just wanted you to know that my family is praying for you. I have read others who are having the same problem with this insurance company. Is there a commission or an advocate you can contact?
