Who holds the record for the longest loser?

I am 10 weeks post op, and I have always wondered just who holds the record for the longest RNY loser? I knew someone that had her stomach stapled 20 years ago, but she recently (2 days before me) had the RNY done. How long have you been a loser? Terri

I know a woman who's a 27 year post op. She had the closest to our RNY procedure that we have now. She still gets her monthly B-12 shot and has all these years. She maintained her loss until a couple yeas ago when a car accident left her unable to exercise at all for months. She's up a few pounds but is as active as ever. She's in her 70's and goes constantly. I hold the record for the longest plateau in my support group: 3 months and 3 weeks. Anyone top that? Myrtle.

I was 347 23 yrs ago I lost down to 165 and have held steady 20 yrs I had a RNY done in oct of this yr because of scar tissue..The profile doesn't let me go back to 83 when I had my surgery..working on that Wendy
