On the last 10 lbs (and my nerdery)
Yes I'm totally a nerd!
So I picked my goal kind of out of the blue. It is 4 lbs lower than the top end of a healthy BMI. It sounded good. Things settled a lot for me at 180. But I keep at it and things do slowly start to change. I have really been trying not to let the numbers bug me -- but I am a crazy numbers person. Myfitnesspal and my Aria scale are fantastic at giving me all the data I need. I gotta admit -- I look at my weight reports very often b/c it reinforces my progress.
I think I'm trying to say here - the numbers go all over the place. Keep working the program and things trend down. I know where I stuck is b/c I started eating too much.
When I look at my weight over the last week it looks like nothing is happening:
but over the last 30 days there is a small ~4 llbs trend down
Over the past 90 days I can see I had a stick point at 180 but seem to have past it:
Then I can look at the past year and just be happy! What is 5-10 lbs anyways!
And this is why I totally love weight charts :)

Stacy, I can't tell you how much I love this :)
The thing the trend charts really reinforce is the idea that weight loss is not black and white. Day to day, it's grey. Even sometimes week to week. You have to look at the longer-term trend to really understand where you're heading--up or down. So what if one day you gain a pound or overeat, or mess up, or fail to work out, or whatever?
If the preponderance of your days are spent making good choices, the trend of your weight loss will show that.
So many congrats to you for making so many good choices, Stacy :)
Stacy, what application did you use to get the charts?

Stacy you have done such a fantastic job with your weight loss.... I agree I have been stuck with 6 lbs for a while and so I ranted yesterday on here in hopes it would budge and this am 1 lbs gone ... so who says *****ing doesn't help!!! Lol... I also just re picked a random number that sounded good ... so now I have 5 lbs more to go but then I was thinking ... that would have me at 97 lbs loss ... 3 more would have me at a even 100 lbs sounds better so after goal I'll probably try for at least 3 more!!! :-)

So glad I'm not the only one who does this! Love me some data!
