Setting a Surgery Date

Ok everyone. New girl on the block :-) I am working with my patient coordinator to set a surgery date in October. And I feel....well...freaked out? I want it. I've considered doing it for a few years. I'm tired of being this way. My arthritic back would say it's necessary (yes I'm 30 and I have arthritis in my spine.) But it feels like such a big step. Did you feel freaked out at committing to it? 

I just committed a couple of days ago and immediately began to Freak The Eff Out (see here). I even started biting my nails, and I have never in my life been a nail-biter. You are not alone, Sara T!

PS: Shoot for October 10. That's my date and we can be on the same freak-out timeline together, hooray!

(PPS: I am just trying not to think about it too much.)

Got my date yesterday. I am freaked out too! It is a reality now, but I am looking forward to gettting it over with and sitting on that loser's bench

I just got my date today...it's Aug 29th.. YIKES  My head is spinning... there is so much to do... so many things I wanted to get done before surgery... stuff around the house.. then I realized I need to start my two week pre-op ... THIS Friday.. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time!!
