So,this a old joke:this guy goes to the doctor ,and says, doc,:"it hurts when I do "this"the doctor replies,"Then don't do that".

So if hurts don't do that!
Guess you were told to SLOW down?
After my weight was noticicably less, especially the thighs, I began to trip over my own feet. Because the thighs were no longer holding my feet waaaay apart, I walked funny. I practiced walking in front of a mirror and had to concentrate on where I placed my feet. Good grief, I walked like a duck.
We just have to take teeny tiny baby steps.
Food for the day - ???? something warm 'cause it is brrr cold here.
Kisses
Annette
Well, I can see how it would take your brain a while to adjust to that big a weight loss.
I called my endodontist's office at 9:00 am yesterday and after a ridiculous amount of backing and forthing, they called an RX for an antibiotic to my pharmacy which was finally ready to pick up at 3:30 pm. They are big capsules. I tried emptying one and mixing the contents with applesauce - bad idea, this stuff is really bitter. So I've been swallowing them whole with tons of water, but they don't feel good going through my little stoma.
The plumber is coming this morning to install the new bathroom faucets that my husband tried and failed to install. Then I'm going to buy some flowers and take them over to Mom.

I have very little energy these days but finally got a nutritionist from insurance and she gave me some pointers. I'm going to try 15 minutes on the stationary bike in the am and 15 minutes on the treadmill at lunchtime to get my exercise in.
B protein coffee
S protein pudding
L refried beans, asparagus
S banana
D 2 cheese sticks
Gotta keep sipping lots of liquid and remember the supplements. Sure hope this all becomes routine soon. Have a beautiful day. CV Linda
Yes, that is basically it. I mix hot coffee with some ice in a blender to cool it then add a scoop of protein powder and blend that. Then I can reheat it in the microwave.
You can add protein powder to the nonfat milk and blend before adding the SF pudding and blending again. Then I pour it into 4 oz containers before it sets up.
Hope that helps, Linda
It does take us awhile to get used to the new us. And I can imagine, after nearly 300 pounds the transformation is astounding.
Yesterday at WalMart I caught the reflection of someone 'behind' me in a display case. I moved to get out of her way. IT WAS ME!!! I didn't even recognize the bottom half of my new body!

You need to learn to walk all over again sweetie....little baby steps at first....NO more falling!! You are too precious to us to get hurt. We don't like it when you aren't here. My day just isn't the same until I see your smiling face!!
