I am released after one day but have to spend the weekend in Utica and see the surgeon on Monday , so I will need to have food supplies.

Maybe we could have a regular time each month that we agree to meet to chat?

I think it would have to be in the evening for me to be able to make it though. During the day sometimes I'm free but other times I'm in meetings all day.

I'm so please to be able to join this board. I just got my date of September 29th. I had it down as Oct. 29th and was called earlier this week for my pre-op appointment and was given the correct date. Needless to say I'm thrilled.

You are taking your own food? Are you sure you have to? At our hospital all of the special food is supplied.....I would have thought that would have been the case anywhere. I'll be in the hospital for 2-3 days and during that time I'll just be on clear liquids, broth, popsicles.....it won't be until I get home that I'll be on protein shakes.
