Question:
I am 2 months post-op and I'm beginning to have some pains in my legs.

Especially my left leg, it just aches all the time. I take my vitamins and calcium chews daily. I'm able to eat pretty much anything as long as I chew, I don't drink that much though. What am I doing wrong?    — Billie M. (posted on July 1, 2001)

sounds to me maybe you aren't getting enough water or fluids into yourself. Being dehydrated will cause leg cramps. Also if your potassium level is low that will cause cramping in your legs. Hope this helps.

I too had the same problem. I first tried to increase my potassium but that did not help. I talked to my nutrionist, she had me increase my calicum intake. That did the trick. Best of luck
