Question:
How did you feel and celebrate when you lost your first 100lbs?

I'm wondering how you felt when you lost 100lbs? These are my stats: Lap RNY 9/3/02 265/165/115 -100!! I would like some ideas to help me celebrate my success (so far). Thank you    — yourdivaness (posted on April 7, 2003)

I went and got a professional facial! It was heavenly, and worth every penny!

Hi there! I'm pre-op, but I've been thinking about what you asked -- what do I want to do at 100 lbs lost?? I am going to treat myself and my sister to a day spa in a little town about 30 miles (Sedona, Az) that is full of spas, and I also want to get a pretty tatoo of a dragonfly on my shoulder (something pretty, not biker-mama-ish!) I also plan to visit six flags and ride EVERY ride for the simple fact that I will be able to fit in the seats! Congratulations on your awesome loss!

Congratulations! I'm at 90 pounds lost and am thinking about this myself. I do plan to take a picture of my feet on the scale as it reads 100 pounds less. I think I'll get a manicure and pedicure.

I felt great! And now that I lost 66 more, I feel even better! For the 100lbs lost benchmark, I took a cruise to Jamiaca and climbed the 1000ft up Dunns River Falls in Ocho Rios...It was amazing...I never would have/could have done it at 316lbs..Have fun ~Denise 316/150

My family and friends had a "100lbs Party" for me! It was great and they even got a cake with a recent photo of me on it. I loved the attention and recognition for that important landmark.

Great Question! I am pre-op and I think I will do all the things people have listed so far. My first thought was that you should spend good money and on a good photographer. Have some awesome photos taken, maybe even after getting a make-up artisit does up your face and a new hair-do. What an awesome experience! Congratulations to the new you you've dreamed about! Hugs

I set all kind of goals. 25 pounds - a new book. 50 pounds ear pierced (top part) 75 pounds 2 new outfits. 100 pounds, I was going to get a tattoo....however I changed that goal to 150 pounds (I need to make sure I have some part that is not saggy LOL) - so my husband got me a puppy instead. (I have been asking for one for 19 years !!) My next goal is 150 pounds and the tattoo.

Hi there! I feel absolutely fabulous!! My husband and my brother both gave me money, then my hubby took me to Chicago to shop with my best friends and buy me some clothes! We went thrift store shopping and I came home with 4 bags of stuff. I got clothes for now and smaller ones that I have already begun to fit in to. I've actually been rewarding myself for every 25 lbs. I got new shoes, new undies, some CD's to work out to and some material to make a new dress with (I'm a seamstress). I have 5 more lbs and then I get to choose something new. Maybe you could do a girls night out or get those "glamour" shots. Have fun with it and look great! Vi open RNY 9/23/02 down 120 lbs.
