Question:
Using the barbeque grill
We use our barbeque grill all summer for just about every dinner meal. If I don't use barbeque sauce etc would it be okay to use? — Marina M. (posted on July 9, 2002)

As long as you are able to tolerate whatever it is you want to eat, cooked
is cooked, no matter how you cook it... If you can tolerate a little salad
dressing, that will make it seem a little less dry... or try dipping it in
yogurt.... good luck and blessings. Margie B

We grill all the time, both me and jen are post ops. Just keep stuff moist,
I love rare and that goes down easier. Well done dried out food isnt as
easy to eat. Barbecue sauce is great. I like shiskabobs with
onions,mushrooms, steak and tomatoes.
<P> BBQ is no problem at all")

Our family BBQ's all the time. Hasn't been a problem at all. You should be
able to tolerate BBQ sauce as long as whatever you are eating isn't
SMOTHERED in BBQ sauce. I think it does have some sugar in it but not much.

I found a barbque rub where they keep the spices. It works great. It is
in a small bottle and you rub it on whatever you are grilling and it turns
out great and even makes the skin on chicken crispy. (one small piece won't
hurt me).

I love to marinate meat for a few minutes in a mixture of olive oil, lemon
or lime juice, a little stone ground mustard and freshly ground black
pepper. Salt the meat just before you put it on the grill cuz if you salt
it and let in marinate it pulls the juice OUT and we don't want that! I
love chicken like that. One other tip--if you use boneless skinless chicken
THIGHS they are much moister and go down more easily than chicken breasts.
No need for any sauce: They taste great nekkid!
