I've started Proteinex and get so much energy from it
I've started Proteinex and get so much energy from it I was wondering if it has something in it that is not good for me. Historically, anything that made me feel this way was amphetamine like. Any input welcomed — faybay (posted on April 3, 2002)

Maybe you should try something else like Pro-complex. But I am intrigued,
so may I asked where you purchased Proteinex ? I would like to read the
label and address it to my support group to see if anyone else has
experienced this.

I absolutely swear by the stuff! It is awesome. Saw my surgeon today and
he was pleased I was taking it. I don't tolerate shakes and bars well at
all, they cause me to dump. This is the first protein I can tolerate. The
reason it makes you feel so good is it is pre digested and all our body has
to do is put it to use. I will NEVER go back to anything else. For the
previous poster it is available at WalGreens or WalMart. They do have to
special order it for you, you get it within 24 hours of ordering it.

I am a huge Proteinex fan! Not only is the energy a benefit, but if I take
it each day I NEVER experience hunger. If I don't take it I do! I have
found it is cheaper to order it directly from the company as they ship
free. Both Walgreens and Walmart mark up the price. Their website

the website as to it's benefits. I am so glad I do not mind the taste. I
actually like it!

My sugery is 4/22 so I'm in the process of getting all my protein products
in order. That being the case I've just ordered Proteinex from the
manufacturer and it's $25 for two 8 oz bottles, and they have a bigger
bottle, but I don't remember how much it is. No shipping costs. They are
very nice when you talk to them. I tried to order it from the Walgreens I
go to and they said they never heard of it and that I should try a medical
supply store. I read on this site somewhere that if you put it in your
water you get your water and protein all at the same time. How cool is
that!

Mary,
I just ordered some from Walgreens this morning. 16oz is $29 and 8 oz is
$16. I think the dose is one or two teaspoons, I don't remember. I didn't
think the cost was too bad.
